ISO-LOK INTRODUCES NEW HIGH QUALITY, LOW-COST CABLE SEAL

Castell Iso-lok has introduced a new range of high quality, low cost cable break-away seals. Designed to ‘seal’ operating devices that are no longer in a usable condition, the products are suitable for use with switches, valves, access doors and control panels. Other applications include tanker valves, TIR cables, wheelchairs and vehicle doors.

The cable break-away seal is secured by turning the shear screw until it securely locks the wire in place. The shaft will only break when the wire has been completely tightened – and the seal can only be opened with a cable cutter.

The seals are comprised of an aluminium body and 18cm long galvanised steel cable. They are available in two diameters, 1.5mm or 2.5mm. One end of the cable is permanently secured onto the locking body, and the ribbed pattern on the exterior protects the product from marking during rough handling.
